The South Kilburn CarniVale is a free community-led cultural festival, with this year’s focus being on folk and heritage. The Vale part is a play on Carlton Vale. It is called South Kilburn so as not to confuse it with other established festivals in Kilburn. It places being in harmony with nature as a key element, hence why we have signed up to the Plant-Based Treaty and try our best not to harm the environment (reuse / recycle, less plastic, etc) nor serve / promote food which is harmful to animals / the environment. We also keep to plant-based to ensure community cohesion as our residents are of mixed religions / beliefs and no faith.
