DESCRIPTION:Why are we coming together?\nBrent Council plans to build Block
  D (14 homes\, 4 storeys high) on our beloved Granville Rec. Granville Rec
  is home to our community garden and vegetable growing project. It is a pl
 ace where people come together to grow food\, learn new skills\, support w
 ellbeing\, and build connections.\n\nIn response\, the community has been 
 campaigning to protect this space. On this day\, we come together to celeb
 rate the garden and stand up for its future.\n\n&nbsp\;\nWhat’s happenin
 g on the day:\n\n 	Updates and discussion about the future of the garden\n
  	Guided garden walk\n 	Bug hunt and biodiversity exploration\n 	Sharing o
 f garden-grown vegetables\n 	Hands-on gardening activities\n 	Banner makin
 g for the Save the Rec campaign\n\nWe also want to open up a wider convers
 ation about the food ecosystem and the need for transformative change\, by
  showing our other programmes\, including:\n\nThe Good Food Box – an aff
 ordable\, radical organic veg box (with fruit\, veg tasting and homemade v
 eg cakes available)\n\nGranville Community Farm Hub – an agroecological 
 farm hub connecting the urban South Kilburn community with land in the cou
 ntryside\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
